Wildomar's Weeknights Just Filled In
A year ago, if you wanted a sit-down dinner in Wildomar that wasn't a taco stand or a drive-through, you were probably getting in your car and heading toward Murrieta or Temecula. That's no longer true, and the change didn't come from one big development. It came from a single plaza on Clinton Keith Road quietly renting out every empty suite it had, while six minutes away, Marna O'Brien Park kept running its own separate calendar of free events that most of the people eating dinner on Clinton Keith have probably never checked.

The Skate Park Menifee Won't Make Free
Drive past Newport Road and Lone Pine Drive this month and you will see it before you understand it: chain link fencing wrapped around a corner of Audie Murphy Ranch Sports Park, a gravel staging area where the picnic shelters used to be, a crew truck parked most weekday mornings. Kids on scooters roll past it on their way to the skate bowl, glance at the fencing, and keep going. Most residents driving by assume it is routine park maintenance. It is not.

What's New in Menifee 2026? Openings and Timelines
Drive the corner of McCall Boulevard and Menifee Road this month and you'll see what the city photographed back in July: cleared dirt, a sign staked into the ground announcing a Stater Bros. is coming, council members in hard hats posing with shovels. It looks like progress, and it is. But if you're planning your grocery runs around a new supermarket opening soon, the timeline says otherwise. Summer 2027 is the target for doors open, a full year out from the ceremony that made the local news.

La Cresta's Riding Season Now Runs on Two Different Clocks
Ask a longtime plateau resident when "riding season" starts and you'll get two different answers depending on which side of the community they run in. One says October, when the heat finally breaks and the reserve trails stop cooking at noon. The other says it never really stopped, because the newest arena on the plateau runs clinics on a calendar that doesn't care what month it is.

Temecula Wine Country Harvest Season 2026: What to See
For as long as most locals can remember, going to wine country here meant picking a weekend, buying a ticket, and driving out to a single tasting room for an afternoon. That's still true if you want a grape stomp or a seat at a harvest dinner. But starting September 1, 2026, a good part of what makes Temecula Valley's harvest season worth paying attention to costs nothing and never closes.

Murrieta Hot Springs Resort Local Pass Eligibility Guide
Drive past Murrieta Hot Springs Road on a Saturday afternoon and you'll see the parking lot fill up fast, mostly with cars from outside the 92562 and 92563 zip codes. Ask around the neighborhood and you'll hear two versions of the same resort: one where it's a $130-a-day tourist draw for people driving up from San Diego, and another where it's basically a public pool with a much nicer entrance. Both versions are wrong in a way that costs actual money.

The Canyon Lake Paperwork Clock: What Waterfront Sellers Must Clear Before Escrow Opens
A Canyon Lake seller with a dock out back tends to worry about the wrong thing first. They picture a buyer's financing falling through, or an inspector finding something in the crawl space. The Menifee Friday Night Has Grown Up: Your 2026 Summer Field Guide
For years, a Menifee Friday in summer meant picking one thing and driving. A movie down at the old Sun City lot, dinner up in Murrieta, or the long haul out to Old Town Temecula if you wanted the market crowd. The city's own calendar sat mostly quiet from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and residents built weekend plans around what the neighbors were doing rather than what the city was hosting.

Your Guide to Things to Do in Murrieta This Summer
For most of the last decade, a Saturday night in Murrieta meant one thing between June and August: a blanket on the grass at Town Square Park, a food truck line, and a cover band running through the same rotation the amphitheater has hosted for years. It was free, it was reliable, and it was the summer.

A Local's Guide to Weeknight Wildomar This Summer
For a long stretch, a Wildomar summer had one center of gravity. If you asked a neighbor where they were headed on a Friday, the answer was Marna O'Brien Park or one of the Clinton Keith strip anchors, and that was more or less the map. That map has changed in 2026. The city's weekly rhythm now runs across three separate corridors, and the residents who feel like they know where everything is have quietly updated their routines to match.
