The Marigold Guide
Everything on this page in one free guide: what homes are selling for right now, HOA dues and Mello-Roos, schools, and the things we only know from selling here. It opens right away and we’ll email you a copy to keep.
Jordona’s Picks · A Local’s Guide
The list we actually give people. Some of these you would drive straight past without a local telling you; some are names you already know and are simply the right call. Either way, this is where a family who has worked Menifee for years eats.
Also ours: Giovanni's Pizza and Pasta · Robelle's Cookies
Where Menifee actually goes out: the sports bars with the game on, the patios that stay busy after dark, and the room with a band in it. Not a long list, because it is not a long list.
Not the attractions list, just the places people here actually go on a weekend. If you are working out what there is to do in Menifee beyond the obvious, start with these.
Menifee's golf is Menifee Lakes Country Club: 36 holes on two Ted Robinson courses, the Lakes and the Palms, open to the public, with The Oasis and Menifee Lakes built right around it.
What’s Coming Up
From the City of Menifee’s own calendar, so it stays current without anyone here retyping it. These are Menifee-wide, and most are a short drive from Marigold.
Check the Menifee calendar ↗ before you set out.
Marigold is a small 2010s community in southeast Menifee, three streets off Scott Road with a hill rising right behind it. The homes are big, the median is around $704,000 for roughly 2,775 square feet, and you could walk the whole neighborhood in ten minutes.
Marigold is three streets: Whembly Circle, Wales Court and Edinborough Way. That's the whole community. There's no through traffic because there's nowhere to go through to, and the hill right behind it is the easiest way to pick it out from the air.
It sits just off Scott Road. For a bigger park, Mira Park is at Mira Street and Wickerd Road, a 5.66 acre city park about three quarters of a mile away.
Marigold is in Menifee Union School District for elementary and middle school and Perris Union High School District for high school. Sally Buselt Elementary is on Wickerd Road, about half a mile away. Liberty High is on Leon Road, about a mile away. Bell Mountain Middle is a longer trip, on La Piedra Road about three miles away.
The district assigns schools by address and the lines can move, so send me the address you like and I'll confirm the schools for that home before you get attached to it.
Scott Road runs along the edge of the community and has its own interchange on the 215, which is about two miles west as the crow flies. That's your route north through Menifee or south toward Murrieta and Temecula.
Marigold was built around 2014 at the southern edge of Menifee, toward the Murrieta line. It's small and self-contained, and every home is within a few hundred yards of every other one.
That size is the thing I want you to understand before you shop here. There aren't many homes and they rarely come up. When one does, though, the comparable sales are about as reliable as they get, because every one of them is right down the street.
These are large detached homes, around 2,775 square feet at the median. In August 2026 they were among the biggest in Menifee outside the premium tracts. The floor plans are 2010s, so expect open living areas.
At about ten years old the systems are still young, but they aren't new anymore. I'd still have someone look at the roof and the HVAC. They just aren't the worry here that they are on a house from the 2000s.
Expect very few homes for sale. If Marigold is the one you want, set up a saved search alert. It matters more here than in a community with forty homes on the market.
Ask whether there's a Mello-Roos. Menifee homes built in 2014 sit right on the line between tracts that have one and tracts that don't.

The Marigold Report
Every home for sale in Marigold right now, what they are asking, how long they are taking to sell, and what has actually closed, put together for this community rather than for the city around it.

The Detail
The numbers people actually ask about Marigold, in one place rather than four screens apart. Pick whichever you came for.
Homeowners Association
Too few homes are currently on the market in Marigold reporting association dues to publish a reliable range. Ask us and we will pull the current figure for a specific address.
Marigold has HOA dues. A 2014 home in Menifee may or may not be inside a Community Facilities District, and at this age it really does come down to the parcel. We pull the actual assessment for the address instead of quoting a community average. Ask for the association's governing documents, the current dues, any pending special assessment, and the reserve study. In California the seller is required to provide these under Civil Code §4525, and the time to read them is your investigation period rather than after it.
Education
19 public schools, from Menifee Union and neighboring districts. Standing is against the California average on the state’s own tests. 1 is within a mile of the middle of Marigold.

Confirm the boundary. Attendance areas are set by the district, do not follow community lines, and are redrawn as schools open, so check the assigned schools for the specific address rather than the neighborhood. Ask Menifee Union, Romoland Elementary or Perris Union High.

Standing compares each school’s share of pupils meeting the state standard in English and mathematics to the 2024 California averages (47% and 36%). Results are withheld for small cohorts to protect pupil privacy. Distances are straight-line from the center of Marigold to the school’s published location, a guide to how close it is, not a walking route.
Overview
107,020 people live in Marigold, with a median age of 38.2. 80% of homes are lived in by their owner, and the median household earns $89,183. The average commute is 42 minutes each way.
These figures are for the city of Menifee, which Marigold is part of. The Census doesn't count the community as its own place.

About two miles east of it as the crow flies. Scott Road runs along the edge of the community and has its own interchange on the 215.
Marigold is a small community inside the city of Menifee, in Riverside County, ZIP 92584. It's three streets, Whembly Circle, Wales Court and Edinborough Way, just off Scott Road. It isn't its own city, so city-wide Menifee numbers describe the area around it and not Marigold itself.
Around 2,775 square feet at the median, and the homes were built around 2014. Every house is a little different, so we look at the specific property instead of assuming from the community as a whole.
It depends on the parcel, and it's always disclosed. Where a Community Facilities District applies, the special tax is a real ongoing cost on top of your base property tax and any HOA dues, so put it in your monthly number before you decide.
