It lets you search every home for sale in the Temecula Valley on a live map, save a search and hear about new matches, track what your own home is worth, and read a guide to every community we sell in. Who is Jordona Hertz, and why is she ranked the #1 Realtor in Menifee?

I've been selling homes in Menifee since 2014, and I run a small team on purpose. I'm the broker of record for The Hertz Group (JMTW Inc. DBA The Hertz Group, DRE #02150303), and my own license is DRE #01938232. Here is the record, with where each number comes from.

I put the sources next to the numbers because anyone can type "#1 agent" on a website. You should be able to check it. More on how we work is on the why work with us page, and you can meet the team there too.

What can you do on thehertzgroup.com?

The short answer: everything you used to need three different sites for. You can search live listings, save the ones you like, set up alerts, look up your home's value, and read about a neighborhood before you ever drive it. It's all free, and you don't need an account to start looking.

• Search every listing on a map. The search pulls straight from the MLS, so it shows what is really for sale right now.
• Save a search and get told. Pick your cities, price and bedrooms once. When something new matches, we email you.
• Know what your home is worth. Ask for a valuation and keep an eye on it over time.
• Read a real guide to the community. There are 44 of them, from city guides down to single neighborhoods.
• Take the home quiz. A few easy questions and the search is set up for you.

How does the home search work?

The home search covers Menifee, Murrieta, Temecula, Canyon Lake, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Winchester and the cities around them. Every gold tag on the map is a home for sale with its price on it. Zoom in on a neighborhood, draw your own boundary with the Draw button, or flip to satellite view to see how close a house really sits to the 215.

One honest note. You can browse freely, and after a number of listings the site will ask you to sign in with Google or an email. That's it. No credit card and no phone call you didn't ask for. Signing in is also what lets you heart a home and save a search, so it's worth the ten seconds.

Not sure what to search for yet? The home quiz asks six plain questions (where, how much, how many bedrooms and so on) and then builds the search for you.

How do you find out what your home is worth?

Go to the home valuation page and type in your address. We look at recent sales around you, including the ones I've sold myself on your street or in your tract, and send you a real number with the sales behind it. If you make a free account, the site keeps the report for you and you can come back to it as the market moves.

A website estimate is a starting point, and I'll always say so. A new kitchen, a pool, solar that's owned versus leased, a lot that backs to the hills: none of that shows up in a formula. When you're serious about selling, I walk the house and give you a price I'd put my name on. The sellers page explains how we market a listing once you're ready.

Which communities does the site cover?

There are 44 guides on the neighborhoods page. The city guides cover Menifee, Murrieta, Temecula, Canyon Lake, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore and Winchester. Inside those you'll find the individual communities, like Audie Murphy Ranch, Heritage Lake, Menifee Lakes and Sun City.

Each guide has the things I get asked in the car on the way to a showing: what the HOA dues are, whether there's Mello-Roos, which schools serve the area, how long the drive to the 15 or the 215 takes, and where people eat. The home prices on each guide come from live market data, so they stay current. You can download any guide as a PDF to read later.
