This policy explains what we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It applies to thehertzgroup.com and is written to be read, not to be survived.

Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. In plain terms: we use your Google name and email to identify your account and nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not transfer it to anyone for advertising, and we do not use it to train any AI model.
If you tick the consent box and give us your number, you agree we may contact you — including by automated call or text, some of which may use an artificial or prerecorded voice. That consent is never a condition of using this site or of buying or selling a home with us. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. Message and data rates may apply.
Listings shown here come from the California Regional Multiple Listing Service under a licence that governs how we may display them. That licence also obliges us to log activity relating to that data and to report it in aggregate. It restricts us too: we may not use listing data to market to you by email without the MLS's prior written permission, and we do not.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with services that operate this site on our behalf — hosting, our customer database, and Google for sign-in — and only as far as each needs to do its job. We will also disclose information if the law requires it.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to delete it, or to correct it. You may also ask us not to sell or share it — though as above, we do not sell it. Exercising any of these rights costs you nothing and we will not treat you differently for asking.

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your searches. We also use one to count how many listings have been shown to a visitor in a day, because our MLS licence caps that number and requires us to enforce it.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle information you have already given us, we will tell you directly.
